Here are pics of the ones that I made..
I started off making these fun fabric honeycomb balls. I already blogged about these a bit. It's a fun ornament to make. I made 4 white, 4 blue and 4 in that weird red color. I like the white ones the best.
The quilt guild I belong to, the Rocket City Modern Quilt Guild was decorating a tree to display in the man library in town. There were only 4 of us who made any ornaments for the tree but we made enough to decorate the tree nicely. Here are pics of the ones that I made.. I started off making these fun fabric honeycomb balls. I already blogged about these a bit. It's a fun ornament to make. I made 4 white, 4 blue and 4 in that weird red color. I like the white ones the best. I also whipped up a bunch of these cute owl pendants that I used as ornaments. I really like these guys a lot. They're cute and super fast to make. If you know me or follow my blog then you already know that I really love to paper piece. I made a bunch of these guys. Sorry, no tutorial link for these. I fussy cut some sparkly fabric for the backs of the paper pieced ornaments. I almost forget about that fabric ball. I'm totally blocking out that experience. I truly hope to never have to make one of those things again. I had planned to make like a dozen of them. No way, no how. That's just not going to happen. I also made the tree skirt. I didn't have time to quilt it but it's good enough for quick work. It's a fun tree skirt. It's from the Sew Mama Sew blog and the free pattern can be found here... And the decorated tree!
