I wanted to do a frog because I like frogs. There I said it.... and even better... a new frog has taken up residence in my bubbling rock water feature we added this past spring. The water is suppose to come up through a tube inserted in a rock... bubble out and then the water pools in to a 16" terra cotta saucer before it goes back down to be recycled again. It's brilliant. The birds love it and now so does a cute little frog - which I have yet to photograph but will soon...
In addition to the afghan of course I whipped up a stuffed doll to go with the afghan! He's specially shaped to match the afghan.
Both patterns can be found on my main website as well as on Etsy and Craftsy. They are only on sale on my main website through the end of August.
Hopefully I'll feel ready enough to submit the proposal before the boys go back to school on the 19th. Then it will be a long wait to get the yay or nay. Let's hope that I get a yay right away so I am not totally devastated. I'm hopeful.
Once it is submitted, I'll be back to work on the amigurumi stuffed doll submission as well as the submission for the quilt technique I have developed that will rock the quilting world. Actually, let's flip flop those two - do the quilt one first since it's totally awesome and I don't wanytanyone else to think it up before I can get it proposed and printed...
