I hate cutting the buggers apart once they are in their super long chain o' pieces. It seems to take forever to snip them apart with scissors.
Yes, I know I all of sudden sound really, really lazy but truth be told, I like gadgets that save me time and frustration. Snipping with those scissors is my absolute least favorite part of chain piecing.
It was a purple tower called "The Cutting Gizmo"
Okay. What the heck is that and why would I need that? I asked myself...
Well, it has a nifty razor there in the center and it was the answer to my chain piecing frustration.
After you finish your strip piecing you hold it up over the Cutting Gizmo and pull down gently and viola!
Okay. I sound like an infomercial but a review is a review. This is one product that I absolutely love. I've bought some duds in my lifetime but this is not one of them.
What do I like so much about it? In the days BCG (before cutting gizmo) I have to admit that sometimes I got a bit careless with my scissor snipping and snipped in to the fabric. No more! I've had this thing for all of 4 days and I am hooked.
Aren't those fabrics I'm using just obnoxious? Yes, I know they are but for what I'm using them for they will be perfect :)
